Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology
About
The Department of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology was established along with the other constituent departments at the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Kishanganj, on August, 2022. The college itself is the second veterinary college of the state of Bihar under the Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna. Along with imparting quality education at the undergraduate level the department also aims to carry out basic and applied research for improvement of livestock health and upliftment of the farming community.
Mandate
- To impart quality education at under-graduate and post-graduate level in the subject of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology
- To carry out research aimed at scientific validation, documentation and popularization of both modern and traditional practices in the field of Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology.
- To engage in extension activities and provide technical inputs for benefit of the farmers.
