Department of Dairy Chemistry
About
The Department of Dairy Chemistry is engaged in three mandate areas of the university i.e., Teaching, Research and Extension. It is responsible for teaching of various courses related to Dairy Chemistry at Under Graduate and Post Graduate level. The department is engaged in research and development in chemical quality of milk and milk products. It imparts training to dairy farmers/entrepreneurs in chemical testing of milk.
Mandate
- To produce high quality human resource for academic Institution and Industry
- To provide research and development support towards chemical quality of milk and milk products
- To earn extramural research projects and acquire funding from different agencies
- To create awareness towards chemical testing of milk and milk products through different extension activities
