Department of Veterinary Medicine

About

The College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Kishanganj, came into existence on August 24, 2022 as a constituent college of Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna. The department of Veterinary Medicine is presently working in collaboration with Veterinary Clinical Complex, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Kishanganj. The faculties of department of Veterinary Medicine are engaged in health and diagnostic services to the cases presented to OPD-medicine of VCC and various extension activities such as organization and participation in animal health camps, infertility camps and kisan samvad.

Mandate

Mandate:

To undertake Under-graduate teaching as per VCI norms and Postgraduate teaching.
To conduct research in different areas of veterinary and ethnoveterinary
To provide health and diagnostic services to the cases presented to OPD-medicine of VCC.
To provide health services to patients in animal health camps.
