About the Department
The Department of Veterinary Clinical Complex came into existence on 29 April 2023, when the outpatient department (OPD) officially started. Since its inception, treatment of animals, including birds, has been undertaken in accordance with MSVE-2016.
The department also provides veterinary extension services through animal health and infertility camps. Its core objective is to deliver patient care and services to companion and farm animals and their owners.
As an integral part of the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Arrabari, Kishanganj (Bihar), the Veterinary Clinical Complex is committed to providing diagnostic and treatment facilities for animal patients.
The department works in collaboration with clinical departments (Veterinary Medicine, Surgery & Radiology, and Gynaecology & Obstetrics) and para-clinical departments (Veterinary Pathology, Parasitology, Microbiology, Toxicology, Public Health and Animal Nutrition).
Through clinical cases, the Veterinary Clinical Complex also serves as a learning centre for hands-on clinical training of undergraduate and postgraduate students.
