Bihar Animal Sciences University (BASU), Patna and the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Deemed University, Izatnagar (UP) signed the Memorandum of Understanding on 02.09.2017 in order to develop close co-operation in research and academic activities between both the organisations. Dr. Rameshwar Singh, Vice-Chancellor, BASU and Dr. Raj Kumar Singh, Director, IVRI, Izatnagar inked the agreement at Izatnagar in presence of Dr. S. Samantaray, Registrar, BASU and Dr. Triveni Dutt, Joint Director, Academic, IVRI. Dr. B.P. Mishra, Joint Director, Research and Dr. V.K. Gupta, Joint Director, CADRAD from IVRI also graced the occasion. The MOU also aims at strengthening the collaboration between IVRI and BASU in the areas of mutual interest for teaching and guiding research scholars leading to postgraduate degrees (M.V.Sc. and Ph.D.). The MOU shall remain valid initially for a period of five years w.e.f. the date of signing and shall be extendable further on mutual consent.
